Mental Mediumship

 

The Spirit world communicates through the mind of a Medium by impressing upon his or her mind the evidence of the spirit survival after physical death. This type of mediumship is demonstrated in the following ways;

 

· Clairvoyance or Clear Seeing - the Medium sees the spirit person and can describe them.

 

· Clairaudience or Clear Hearing - the Medium hears the spirit and can relay the information given to them.

· Clairsentience or Clear Feeling - the Medium feels the presence of the spirit.

 

Many Mediums use all three methods blending together to give the best evidence that the information is coming from the spirit world.

 

All people present can see or hear the phenomena with their physical senses, without the use of clairvoyance.

The person in spirit can communicate by rapping where knocks on physical objects can be heard clearly and a code can be established to prove an intelligence is creating the noises.

 

Materialisation can be used so that the spirit can be seen by everyone present and in some instances can be touched.

 

Direct voice can also be used where a voice or voices can be heard independently of the Medium. With this type of mediumship the spirit person can speak in their own voice as further evidence of their survival.

 

Physical phenomena is only demonstrated in private sittings to protect the Medium, who is in a vulnerable state when doing this
